August 16, 2013 was my first trip and experience at the Blooming Fields. The grounds, gardens & tea house are immaculately kept and provide a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. We chose to have lunch first and were seated right away by their very friendly staff. The menu is just right for lunch time fare in size and variety. The only downside was the pricing. For having had to drive all the way there and knowing they provide alot of their own produce for the menu etc. I didn't feel the price reflected what we got. $ 14.25 for a panini was a little much ... it should have been more in line with the rest of menu but I will say it was very well prepared and we enjoyed our lunch. We found the gardens were picked over quite alot and the prices were way out of line for home grown produce. I guess you go for the experience but I thot it was generally over priced ...
